Visit Potamia to enjoy a unique combination of mountain and sea.  The forests of pine and walnut trees embrace the village up to where the wave bursts at its spacious beach with the fine golden sand and deep blue waters.  The village will enchant you with its stone built houses and cobblestone paths.  There you may visit the museum of the famous sculptor Polygnotos Vagis, who excelled in the U.S.  Today, in a stone built building of the 19th century (old primary school) are hosted works of art he left as a legacy to his hometown.
